A stunning jobshadowing-etwinning- Erasmusplus exchange

One of the most interesting points if this job shadowing was being able to meet in person  my twinning project collaborator Michael Kwas. Together we work on a project called "Grandparents, the bridge to our future."

The first task was a general presentation - student's present themselves, followed byfuture jobs  expectation vs reality- Padlet activity where students have to write about their dream job, their parent's expectation regarding their children's future and also their grandparents expectations.

Other task was when they had to present their gran's lifestage.

My gran’s lifestage - presentation of grandmother or grandfather using the main life stages _ baby, toddler, child, teenager, adult and elderly. It has been a very emotional activity but also it opened their minds regarding topics such as : literacy, women , school and technology in past.

Videos and pictures of the meeting have been added to the project gallery!

Another activity was the following one:

Students present how things related to travel, social media, fashion, house and household and laws and regulations have changed from the time when their grandparents were born to prints day.

They have prepared presentations that were shown within a meeting with their Austrian partners.

And finally the survey!

This task aims at the creation of a survey about jobs in the future.

Students have to make up a survey/ form and ask at least 100 people.

They have to present the results to their etwinning partners.

The results of this activity are the following :

Vienna awaits!

Getting ready for Vienna. Thanks to IES Eduardo Primo Marqués and the Erasmus + programme I have been given the chance to travel to Vienna, one of the most important cities in Europe. This amazing city is full of history and art together with cultural references. Here is a short introduction of what can be done here:                                               Vienna       The purpose of this journey is a job shadowing programme within the HTL Mödling School. Our school has been working with this school by means of an Etwinning project entitled " Our grandparents, the bridge to our future" . The experience has been great so far as both Spanish and Austrian students are engaged with the activities proposed.               Here is a video presenting the hosting school: During this journey I wi...

Food in Austria and Vienna's landmarks

Vienna is a city full of history and art as it has stunning buildings that bare centuries of historical events and art. Every time I was walking around the city center I was amazed not only by the buildings but also the way they are preserved. They spend a lot of money in cleaning the outside building and the monuments and the pavements were so clean that I thought there was no garbage anywhere in Vienna. When it come to food, well then... If you want to go on a diet, Viena is not the place to go. The variety of food and way of cocking it, is still the one used many years ago. It is just delicious, good and some way healthy(if you don't eat desserts). Here is a link to their most famous Manner Napolitane . Sit back, breath and relax while you watch these amazing photos of the landmarks in Vienna :
